Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Location: Kensington and Chelsea, London Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
A highly regarded secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. We are working closely with this inclusive and well-resourced school to find a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting students in a classroom setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced support staff, or anyone with a strong interest in working with young people in an educational environment.
The Role:
- Supporting students aged 11-16 in and out of the classroom
- Working closely with class teachers to deliver effective learning support
- Assisting pupils with additional educational needs, including those with EHCPs
- Helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for education and pupil development
- Must be able to commit to the full academic year (September 2025 - July 2026)
