Job Title: English Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - September Start
Location: Barnet, North London Salary: £105-£110 per day (Term time only) Contract: Full-time | 8:15am - 4:00pm | September 2025 start Trial Days Available: June 2025 Contract Type: Long-term (academic year) with opportunity for permanent role

What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting KS3 and KS4 English lessons - helping students engage with reading, writing, and analysis
Leading small group literacy interventions and 1:1 support to boost reading comprehension and writing skills
Assisting teachers in preparing resources and supporting lesson delivery
Helping manage classroom behaviour and encouraging active participation
Providing additional support in subjects like Humanities or PSHE if required
What We're Looking For:
A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (2:2 or above preferred)
A strong grasp of written and spoken English
A passion for education and helping young people succeed
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Any prior experience working with young people is an advantage but not essential
