Veritas Education works with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong and trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants to work in nurseries and primary schools across East London. These roles are ideal for childcare professionals who are passionate about supporting early years development in a nurturing, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities for Nursery Pracitioner and Assistants:
- Support the learning, development, and well-being of young children through play-based and structured activities
- Help prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
- Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Tailor learning and play activities to meet individual needs, including those with SEND
- Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD opportunities as required
- Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the nursery or classroom
Requirements:
- A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience working in an early years or primary setting
- A friendly, proactive, and dedicated approach, with a genuine passion for working with children
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
