Science Teacher
Pay: £150-£220+ (depending on exp)
Full-time/ Term Time only
Epping, North London

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Science Teacher to work with autistic students, creating an engaging, supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Science Teacher Role Key Responsibilities:
- Teach science to small groups of autistic students across KS3 and/or KS4 (adjustable).
- Develop and deliver differentiated, sensory-friendly lessons that meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with SEN staff, therapists, and families to support student development.
- Promote curiosity, confidence, and independence through hands-on, structured science learning.
Science Teacher Role Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
- Experience or strong interest in working with autistic students or within an SEN setting.
- Patience, creativity, and a flexible, trauma-informed approach.
- Knowledge of autism strategies (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, visual schedules) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Driver is preferred.
