Up to £135 pounds a day
Veritas Education is currently recruiting a qualified English Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school is seeking a motivated and engaging English specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students, while supporting their academic progress and fostering a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching English in UK secondary schools. Strong classroom management skills and a genuine passion for your subject are essential.
Key Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management
A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
