SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Elephant and Castle
Veritas Education is currently working with a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school based in Elephant and Castle, Southwark, who are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Elephant and Castle, South London Start Date: ASAP
About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to make a real impact in a thriving primary school setting. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays as well as supporting in the main classroom. You will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to help deliver personalised support plans and create a safe, inclusive environment for learning.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential)
A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's development
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable
