Are you passionate about supporting students' academic journey and ensuring excellent attendance? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Officer for a secondary school in Haringey.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and maintaining accurate student attendance records
Managing and tracking student absences, ensuring follow-ups as necessary
Collaborating with school staff, parents, and students to improve attendance rates
Using SIMS (School Information Management System) to update and report attendance data
Managing attendance-related queries and providing support to staff and students
Essential Criteria:
Experience in secondary education, ideally in a similar attendance officer role
Proficient knowledge of SIMS and its functionalities
Full enhanced DBS check required
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Information:
Position: Full-time, temporary role (exact length of booking to be confirmed)
Start Date: End of May or June (subject to confirmation)
