Educational Support Worker
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only
Haringey, North London
Are you passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact on their learning journey? This role is ideal for someone who is committed to providing personalized support to students with SEN and helping them thrive in their educational journey.
Education Support Worker Role:
- Promote independence and self-esteem in students, encouraging them to take an active role in their learning.
- Promote independence, self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing among pupils.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to ensure accessibility for all students with SEN.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
Education Support Worker Requirements:
- Knowledge of SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other specific learning difficulties.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, or a strong desire to support those with additional learning needs.
