Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated Science Technician for a full-time, long-term position. The role is set to begin after May half term or from September, depending on your availability.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for science and experience in a lab-based environment who enjoys supporting the delivery of high-quality education.
???? Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and setting up practical experiments and resources
Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring health and safety standards are met
Supporting teachers during practical lessons
Organising stock and ordering supplies
Assisting with general department admin tasks
✅ Requirements:
Previous experience as a Science Technician or within a lab-based environment
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures in a science setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
