Location: Southwark, South East London Start Date: Immediate / Flexible for the right candidate Contract Type: Full-Time | Term-Time Only Salary: £95 - £105 per day (based on experience)
Veritas Education is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Southwark. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a classroom setting.
The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to help pupils achieve their full potential.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Prepare learning materials and support pupils with activities across the curriculum.
- Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to assessment and planning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with primary-aged children, either in a school setting or similar environment.
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant TA qualification or education-related degree is beneficial but not essential.
