SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only
Redbridge, East London
We're looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who need a little extra help to succeed - both in the classroom and beyond.
SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Assist the class teacher in adapting resources and lessons to suit individual learning styles.
- Promote independence, self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing among pupils.
- Provide tailored support to students with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or emotional needs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or otherwise).
- Confident in working as part of a team but also proactive when working independently.
- Kind, patient, and adaptable - able to respond to a variety of needs and behaviours.
