Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the Bradford area, seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
???? The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people. As an SEN TA, you will work closely with students with a range of additional needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
✅ The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with children or young people with SEN (such as autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social/emotional/mental health difficulties)
Confident in supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for education and inclusion
A strong team player who can also work independently under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCO
Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - this is essential
???? Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored support to students with SEN needs
Supporting classroom learning and assisting with differentiated tasks
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team
Helping manage behaviour and promote positive learning environments
Assisting with record-keeping and feedback to teachers and parents where necessary
