Secondary Cover Supervisor
Full Time / Term Time Only
Barnet, North London
£90 to £120 per day
An 'outstanding' Ofsted graded Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet is on the hunt for a long-term Secondary Cover Supervisor for an ASAP start. This is a full time position which will convert into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Your role of a Secondary Cover Supervisor shall consist of the following:
- Cover absent teachers across mainpy English KS3, KS4 or KS5
- You will be required to be flexible to cover other subjects where required.
- Support students who have difficulties with concentration and SEN
- Delivering pre-planned lesson
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Safeguard pupils effectively
- Liaise with senior staff /colleagues

Requirements:
- Degree level qualifications
- QTS is also preferred.
- Previous classroom /teaching experience is required
- Experience managing behaviour
- Understanding of leading and directing a class
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check (Online Updated) and 2 references on file
