Position: Textiles Teacher Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary: MPS-UPS Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 08:15-15:30, September 2024 Start
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging textiles lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages experimentation and innovation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in textiles or a related field.
- Experience teaching textiles at secondary level is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
