School: Mainstream Primary School - Single Form Entry

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher to join the team at a single form entry school in Morecambe. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or someone in the early stages of their teaching career to grow and develop within a supportive and dynamic school environment.
This is a full time teaching role, Monday to Friday. Fixed for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the Year 5 curriculum.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners and promote active participation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages collaboration, respect, and resilience.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
- Establish effective communication channels with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on pupil progress and maintain positive home-school partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Early Career Teacher status or completion of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the last two years.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and proficiency in delivering effective teaching and learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to practice.
