Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2024

Salary: Competitive hourly rate
Contract Type: Full-time
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work on a long-term basis within a primary school in Colne. The successful candidates will provide support to class teachers and work with individual students or small groups to help them achieve their academic potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Work with individual students or small groups to support their learning and development
- Provide feedback to the class teacher on individual student progress
- Implement behavior management strategies in line with school policies
- Carry out administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- A relevant qualification in Education or Childcare (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3)
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
