As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into a pivotal role within our secondary school, providing essential support in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. This dynamic position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on students' educational journey.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources, maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers.
- Support students with their learning and understanding of the material covered, providing assistance as needed.
- Uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to behaviour management and safeguarding.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
- Use your initiative and adaptability to handle any unforeseen challenges that may arise during the school day.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- University degree.
- Preferred: Experience working with children (not essential) and safeguarding training.
- Enhanced DBS
This is a contract position offering a competitive daily rate between £90-125, dependant on experience, providing an excellent opportunity for career development and professional growth in the education sector.
