Location: Wakefield
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £130-£200 per day
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Class Teacher to join on of our primary schools in the Wakefield area. This is a full-time position starting after Easter. As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in the education and development of young learners, preparing them for their Year 2 SATs and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 2 students.
- Support and assess students' progress, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the school's staff and leadership to maintain high educational standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
- Prepare students for Year 2 SATs examinations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching Year 2 students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and Year 2 SATs.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to the development of young learners.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is competitive and will range between £130 and £200 per day, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, you will have access to professional development opportunities and a supportive school community.
