Job Advert: School PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Salary: £140-£200 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:15-15:30
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation to lead active and healthy lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at Veritas Education for Secondary Schools in Barnsley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Foster a love for physical activity and sports among students.
- Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs and teams.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic PE curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
- A commitment to promoting physical health and wellbeing.
