Day‑to‑Day | Short‑Term | Long‑Term Supply Through Veritas Education
Veritas Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Wigan. We have opportunities available for day‑to‑day cover, as well as short‑term and long‑term placements, to suit your availability and career goals.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Follow school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
- Adapt quickly to different school settings
- Mark work and provide feedback where required (role‑dependent)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
