Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Castleford area who are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can inspire and engage pupils across KS3 and KS4, promoting a love of music both in and out of the classroom.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure pupils make strong progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, performances, and enrichment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Follow school policies and uphold the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Music education.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners.
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures in line with the Department for Education standards.
