Full time/ Term Time role

We are currently working with a lovely Secondary School based in Hayes, Hillingdon. They are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who focuses on supporting English Language and Literature. The role is to start ASAP and this will run for the entire academic year. After one academic year there is the potential of the role becoming permanent.
This role is suitable for someone who already has school experience and supporting special educational needs.
As a English TLA you will be expected to provide one to one/ group focused support alongside manage a tutor group and monitor attendance and wellbeing. The facilities are of a high standard and provide vast opportunity for graduates who are keen to go onto teacher training. The school offers CPD training throughout the year.
Key skills and experience needed:
- Must hold degree level qualification in either English, History, Geography, RE or Sociology
- Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
- High levels of proffesionalism
- Understands safeguarding measures in place within schools.
- Enthusiasm and friendly approach
- Experience or knowledge within special educational needs
