Design Technology Technician
An Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school in Preston are looking for a Design Technology Technician to start in September on a temporary basis however the role will be made permanent if the successful candidate gets on well at the school so this is an excellent opportunity.
The role:
As a DT technician, you will work within the Technology department and provide vital in class support as well as ensuring lessons are correctly resourced and set up. Having a strong knowledge of Design Technology and the workings of a workshop is essential. A background in Design Technology will enable you to work well in this role.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to work effectively in a team
- Be able to interact with staff and students
- Have an understanding of Design Technology machinery and be able to use/demonstrate its use
- Be an excellent communicator able to interact with students
- Be able to maintain a working workshop including stock control
