About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive mathematics department focused on raising attainment and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with Department for Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and a strong learning culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental success
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong subject knowledge within Mathematics
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (including ECTs welcome)
- Confident in managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Committed to safeguarding and supporting student development
