Job Title: PE Teacher Location: West Drayton, London Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday Pay: £180-£240 per day (DOE)
About the School We are a specialist Alternative Provision setting supporting pupils aged 5-19 who require additional support or who have experienced challenges in mainstream education. Our environment is inclusive, nurturing and focused on building resilience, confidence and positive outcomes.
Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated PE Teacher to deliver high-quality physical education, promote healthy lifestyles and support the personal development of students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons for varied ability levels.
- Promote teamwork, resilience and physical well-being.
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Work closely with teaching, pastoral and support staff.
- Contribute to enrichment and extracurricular sports activities.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience delivering PE in mainstream, AP or SEND settings (desirable).
- Strong behaviour-management and adaptive teaching skills.
- Compassionate, patient and committed to inclusive practice.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
