Location: Bromley, South East London Position: Primary Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Small Group Support) Start Date: December 2025 Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Veritas Education are delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Bromley to recruit a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and nurturing team from December 2025.
This OFSTED-rated "Good" school is well known for its strong sense of community, inclusive ethos, and commitment to helping every child achieve both academically and personally. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing tailored support to pupils, fostering confidence, developing essential skills, and encouraging a positive attitude towards learning.
This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, and passionate about supporting children's development-particularly those with additional learning or emotional needs.
The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting (essential)
A solid understanding of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour
Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with children who need extra support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
Main Responsibilities Include:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils within the classroom
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
Encouraging and supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Using creative, engaging strategies to help children reach their full academic and personal potential
