Role Information
Due to the closure of schools last year, schools will be ensuring that this time out of the classroom doesn't impact the progression of pupil's education and development. With this in mind, this school in Preston is looking for a teaching assistant that is comfortable working with small groups of individuals in raising their knowledge and understanding of the core subjects.
You will be required to plan and deliver lessons and liaise with the class teacher. Working closely alongside the class teachers is a vital part of this role, as you will need to discover which areas pupils has gaps in their knowledge and understanding and report what strategies you have put in place so both yourself and the teacher can monitor if they have been effective.
These posts could be to work with 2 year groups including the SATs year groups (Year 5 & 6), it is imperative that you have strong subject knowledge and the experience/flexibility to work in upper Key Stage 2.
