We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team in Leyland. As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged between 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a stimulating and varied curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs of each child
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to learn and develop
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and feedback
- Monitor and track children's progress, providing regular updates to parents and carers
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development, ensuring they feel confident and happy in their surroundings
- Ensure that the nursery is clean, tidy and well-organised at all times
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children
- Ability to work as part of a team
We offer a competitive salary of £9-£11.50
