This exciting Secondary Music Teacher maternity cover position available Easter 2019 is the perfect foot in the door opportunity to join a thriving secondary school in the Prestonarea.
This Music Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups, across a range of abilities. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and teach the GCSE Music syllabus to KS4. There will also be a small amount of Drama to teach too. Tasks should be planned to meet the individual needs of all students and promote a love of learning in order to ensure expected progress is made, stretching the highest ability students and also offering support to the lower ability students.
This school caters for around 900 students and they encourage all learners to succeed through the provision of a high quality education. The school has extremely high expectations of students, from impeccable appearance to polite and courteous behaviour.
