An excellent primary school in Bolton is looking for an experienced Intervention Teacher to work with their Year 6 pupils. This school is focused on providing each pupil with the opportunity to reach their full academic potential. In the last two years they have had huge success with the key appointment of intervention teachers. The Senior Leadership Team work with all staff and assist every staff member in all aspects of the school.
Teacher and Role Information:
You will be working with groups of Year 6 pupils (approx. 10 at a time) who need more focus on progressing academically. You will be expected to confidently plan your group work with a focus on Maths and English in preparation for SATs. You will be working alongside the class teacher in monitoring pupil progression.
You will also have good behaviour management and will be able to maintain pupils focus on work. Your objective is to raise levels of understanding across the Year 6 pupils, and also help with self-confidence and enjoying school. This is an excellent school that wants to progress all of its pupils and dedicate time and energy to making sure every pupils reaches their full potential.
